Cyberattacks have had a great impact on infrastructure, but students in Baltimore are learning how to address it.
Baltimore Polytechnic Institute’s Cyber Range is the first-of-its-kind at a Maryland school. It simulates real-world cyberattacks, so that students can get hands-on training in detection of and responses to online threats.
The lessons will help prepare students for real-world scenarios, both in college and in the workforce.
The offering is similar to an introductory cybersecurity college course, and the Cyber Range was created through a donation from BCR Cyber.
