About the Program
Real-World Cybersecurity Training
BCR Cyber’s ICE-T (Intrusion Countermeasure Education and Training) program is a structured, hands-on experience designed to prepare participants for entry-level IT and cybersecurity careers.
Over six months, you’ll build technical foundations through guided instruction, industry-recognized certifications, and practical lab work.
Beyond coursework, the program emphasizes real operational thinking — introducing participants to the workflows, tools, and analytical mindset used inside modern Security Operations Centers (SOCs). The result is career-ready training built for today’s cybersecurity environment.

- BCR Cyber SOC Operations Analyst I (SOCOA I)
Exposure to the operational heartbeat of cybersecurity: security monitoring, alert analysis, and the thinking required to support detection and response inside a SOC. - Fundamentals of AI in Cybersecurity (FAIC)
Learn how AI is shaping the future of cyber defense — plus ethical responsibility and governance considerations that come with innovation.
All modules include hands-on labs and practical training.
Eligibility and Participation Rules
This cohort is only open to individuals who are either EARN-eligible or SNAP-eligible.
Participation policy: Individuals cannot be enrolled if they have previously been enrolled in any BCR Cyber training program.
SNAP Eligibility Requirements
To qualify via SNAP, you must meet all of the following:
- United States citizen
- Maryland resident
- No criminal convictions
- GED or High School Diploma
- 17.5 years or older
- Not receiving TCA Cash
- Currently receiving or eligible for SNAP benefits
EARN Eligibility Requirements
To qualify via EARN, you must meet all of the following:
- United States citizen
- Maryland resident
- 18 years or older
- GED or High School Diploma
- No criminal convictions
